hot october nights

The view from my hotel window in Phoenix early this morning:





Phoenix isn't the most exciting place in the world, but I really like the desert scenery that encircles the city, especially close to sunrise. If I had more time, I'd head out of town and go play with the cactus and rattlesnakes. Minnesota's grenery is great, but mountainous deserts have their appeal as well.

Now, if I could only get that traffic helicopter that's been hovering outside my window for the last half hour to go away, that'd be great. Kinda creepy...
