storm front

We were supposed to have some heavy storms today, but I think they missed Chaska. Still, big storms = cool clouds, so I decided to walk around the neighborhood when I got home from work at 8pm tonight.

In addition to clouds, there were some other things to see, including wildflowers and a deer--the first I've ever seen in our neighborhood.

  1. Those clouds are really cool looking. I wish we got more of that type here in Utah because (as I said before), they become really dramatic with the ultra wide on. Great color in these shots. I think the first one, having the pond in the foreground, is my favorite.

I think we're finally in the home stretch of our storms. I'm hoping so. I really need to get out. I bought tickets to a rodeo today... Yee-ha.
