chez adams

We spent a couple hours at the home of John Adams one afternoon. His home is located in Quincy, which is several subway stops outside of Boston. A few generations of the Adams family, including John Quincy Adams, lived in this house. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the home or the adjacent library, but that's OK--at least we were able to do the tour for free, thanks to some nice park rangers. There were lots of interesting pieces of old furniture and artwork inside the home and library, so it was interesting to see, but I actually liked walking around outside even more. Museums, whether they're traditional museums or someone's former residence, do get tiring after a while.
